Amazing Food, Excellent Service and Perfect View at Mon Ami Gabi!!!

My family and I have lived in Las Vegas since 1989 and we absolutely love the French Bistro, Mon Ami Gabi!

It’s located at the iconic Paris Hotel and Casino. Yes, it even has it’s own Eiffel Tower. Every time we go there we always request outdoor seating to get an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains. It’s especially spectacular during the Spring and Fall seasons.

However, if it’s summer time, I only recommend sitting outside at night since it’ll be way too hot during the day. I highly recommend you make reservations as well through OpenTable or calling to request this seating in advance.

The bread served is buttery with a smooth butter spread. The last time we went my husband ordered the housemade country Pate and I had the baked goat cheese. I personally enjoyed the baked goat cheese more because of the rich tomato sauce. The Pate was also delicious, especially on that warm toast. We shared the French onion soup, which was tasty but extremely heavy. It wasn’t too salty and the cheese was melted well over the bread. Probably one of the best French onion soups I’ve had at any Las Vegas restaurant.

For the main course, I had Mon Ami Gabi’s Steak Frites Au Poivre and my husband had the Filet Mignon Merlot. If you enjoy a creamy peppercorn sauce then get the Au Poivre. I recommend the Filet Mignon as a must for first-timers. The filet mignon was so soft and juicy, so if you enjoy tender meats definitely get this dish. The merlot sauce pushed the experience to the next level. My taste buds were ecstatic to enjoy something so decadent. We both ordered our steaks medium so it was pink in the middle.

For the sides, we ordered frites (fries) and brussel sprouts. We enjoyed them both as well! However, we did see the whipped cauliflower and the sauteed mushrooms pass by our table that also looked delicious. I would recommend trying those if you want lighter sides.

For dessert, we shared the creme brulee. It was a decent size. The top was crisp and the custard was excellent. I highly recommend this dish as well. The ambiance was perfect for a beautiful date night, birthday celebration, or anytime you are feeling fancy for savory steak. Service was excellent! I love how authentic it was to have someone from France wait on us. It really brought the experience together.

Happy Dining!
