Before Carthay Circle, this fine-dining restaurant in the park was Blue Bayou. Although the pirate themed restaurant has a great ambiance, the food is not that great.
On the other hand, Carthay Circle is DELICIOUS!
The service is on point and the view is breathtaking! Disney Imagineers created the Carthay Circle Restaurant to mimic the iconic theatre Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was premiered in.

Service:
From the moment you walk in, you receive excellent guest service that is up to par with Disney’s standards. I had a pretty fun conversation with the hostess and servers about the Hidden Mickey’s in the building.
You can ask them where the Hidden Mickey’s are and they’ll even show you around! Take time to explore the cool pictures as well of Shirley Temple and Walt Disney.
I encourage you to make a reservation since this place is usually packed with limited availability for walk-ins. Furthermore, you should arrive a few minutes before your reservation to make sure you don’t miss it because you were stuck in line on a ride somewhere.

Ambiance:
From the moment you walk in, the decor gives it a classy feel. It’s a great restaurant for a celebration or a beautiful romantic dinner. I suggest getting a seat outside on the patio for a breathtaking view! To get the best dining experience, try to reserve your meal on the patio when the fireworks show is on. While you’re waiting, I recommend you enjoy a drink at the bar. It’ll make you feel you are in the 1950’s again.

Food:
My husband and I shared the Chicken and Chilli Ravioli. The sauce was creamy and savory. The softness of the ravioli made it melt in your mouth. I would recommend getting this dish if you’re a pasta lover. We didn’t eat too much because we had eaten earlier that day, but I wish I could have tried the appetizers and maybe the Angus beef! When servers were walking by with it, my mouth was watering just looking at the perfectly cooked meat.

For dessert, we ordered the cheesecake and the coconut ice cream. Both were rich and decadent. It was a great way to end the night!

The drinks are pricey. However, they were made well. I always get a Jameson and Ginger ale. I was feeling wild that night so I also ordered a straight whiskey on the rocks with honey and lemon on the side. They placed a cool ball of ice in that drink and it looked awesome.
Price:
It’s a fine dining place that’s around $60-80 per person if everyone gets an appetizer, entree, and dessert.
